This model came to us with a heat damaged shell. What we did:

  • Removed the damaged area of the shell
  • Removed all the paint
  • Repaired the damaged area
  • Repainted and reassembled with extra ditchlights (rock lights) installed
  • All custom paint, decals

Locomotive with chunk missing
The model was heat damaged on the shell on the rear engineer’s side. We removed the damaged area.
Masked model
Once the blue was on, we used grey for the glareshield and black for the sill.

We went nuts on the masking, as we always do. We don’t want stray spray getting where it’s not supposed to!
